My name is Laura and I am the founder of Reading Nook Tutoring. I am a certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers and am a graduate of the Master of Arts in Child Study and Education program, OISE, University of Toronto. After gaining valuable experience in various classrooms, I’ve dedicated myself to helping students unlock their potential in literacy. Through my experience I recognized that traditional reading programs often fall short for struggling readers, leading to stagnation in their progress. Driven by this insight, I have dedicated myself to discovering innovative, research-based methods to enhance reading skills.
